That said, it is just as important now than it was before the November election to begin your transition out of the major cities, which will become hubs of medieval deprivation and horror should some sort of economic collapse or other societal game-changing incident take place. As noted by SHTFPlan.com, we’re getting closer and closer to chaos in the 21^st century. The world has gone without global conflagration of a scale last seen during World War II, when entire continents were left in ashes and tens of millions were killed, both soldiers and civilians. The air of destruction and the stench of death, literally, were everywhere.

Any similar conflict in this century could well be fatal—for the entire planet. Nuclear weapons have become the great equalizer, and promise, if unleashed, to not simply wipe out humankind but to make the planet uninhabitable for hundreds of years, and maybe forever.

Many cities around the globe are already nearing collapse

But short of world war we also face a crisis of conscience and a betrayal of government. The election of Trump has proven that populism and nationalism has come back to America; all across Europe, thanks to the dual crises of economic stagnation and globalization, populist/nationalist movements are afoot.

There, terrorism threatens to unravel the fabric of the civil society; in the U.S., it’s political and economic turmoil. Hatred and division, sown mostly by the Left, are pervasive throughout our country. Add to that distrust, disgust and no real desire to “heal” and “get along,” and we are in as explosive a situation as perhaps at any time since our Civil War.

The problem is that people are migrating to large urban areas, not away from them. That means there is a higher concentration of Americans living in fewer places in the country, thereby amplifying the social chaos to the point where most of the population will be affected.

As Wired reported, while disaster appears to be looming globally, there are some urban centers already approaching total collapse thanks to several factors. Using data on 2,100 cities worldwide, researcher Robert Muggah has found which cities are on the cusp of becoming the most violent, unsafe and fragile.

According to his graphic, none of 30 of the most at-risk cities he identified are in the United States, but that is likely due to institutional bias because the U.S. has traditionally been stable. Cities that are on the list in North America—Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Mexico City, Mexico; San Pedro Sula, Honduras; and three cities in Guatemala—have historically been tumultuous.

But in a global collapse situation, all bets are off and formerly stable cities and countries will very likely turn into cauldrons of unrest, chaos and death.

Trump win may not head off potential crisis and social chaos

Donald Trump’s victory in and of itself could bring turmoil to U.S. streets. There have been some small, but sustained, protests since he vanquished Clinton, but there have been additional reports that groups are planning major social unrest on Jan. 20, his inauguration day. As Natural News founder/editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, has reported, there are rumblings that Left-wing operatives are planning to severely disrupt the inauguration, forcing it out of the public’s eye and into seclusion. Also, Adams noted, there are reports that some ultra-radical elements are plotting to take over the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.

Beyond that attempt at disruption, which of course will ultimately be unsuccessful, there are other plans in place to continue disrupting the Trump agenda and de-legitimize his presidency. Most Americans will dismiss these attempts as little more than partisan sniping; but what if the establishment and globalist forces succeed in their plan to undermine Trump with a crash of the global economy, something they would benefit from but which would be blamed squarely on the billionaire real estate developer-turned-commander in chief?

It wouldn’t necessarily matter to Americans who was responsible. What the majority would care about mostly is their loss of income, comfort, stability and future. Cities, of course, would fall first—and hardest, especially those 30 or so identified by Muggah. Keep in mind those cities are already on the brink; not much would need to happen to push them into massive death zones.

After two years of waiting for the reports, USA Today investigators and journalists were appalled to find that CDC staff had redacted nearly every important detail from each one, effectively withholding information about what has taken place at its various biosafety laboratories. Despite these redactions, it is clear from the reports that the CDC has been involved in a number of incidents where extremely bio-hazardous material has gone missing and important safety equipment has gone awry. In numerous instances, the CDC was found to have withheld the details of the types of viruses and bacteria that “escaped” during laboratory mishaps. The agency went even further in other incidences, blacking out entire blocks of text that would have explained what actually occurred in the first place. During the Ebola crisis, an incident involving a CDC worker’s purified air hose suddenly disconnecting, “again,” is also documented.

USA Today is compiling as many of the details of these various heavily-redacted case reports into an ongoing “Biolabs in Your Backyard” investigation, which has already brought to light hundreds of safety incidents that have taken place not only at the CDC and other government facilities, but also at both public and private research facilities, many of which are located at colleges and universities, all throughout the country.

While the CDC has been working tirelessly to keep the details of these many incidents at its labs away from public scrutiny, the cat is already out of the bag. And yet, despite more than 100 labs throughout the country that work with potential bio-terror pathogens having already faced sanctions for major safety violations, little or nothing is being done to address them and protect public health.

Sometimes for years at a time, regulators have allowed labs in violation to continue performing experiments that put not only workers but also the public at risk. In some cases, regulators do not even know which facilities are operating in violation of these failed safety inspections — not even the Government Accountability Office (GAO) knows their identities. What was most concerning to USA Today investigators was 503 pages of reports about pathogens that are listed as potential bio-terror agents in the Federal Select Agent Program. These reports were so heavily redacted, the news outlet said, that they looked like “Swiss cheese.” In response, the CDC has claimed that redacting this important information is fully legal, citing an obscure 2002 bioterrorism law.

“[I]n many cases, the CDC blacked-out information from lab incident reports that the agency often promotes when touting its capabilities and accomplishments on its website or in scientific journals, such as the fact that the CDC operates biosafety level 4 labs, the highest safety level, or that it studies specific organisms like the Ebola virus,” USA Today explains.

The CDC insists that none of the incidents where pertinent information was redacted had any negative impact, or caused any illness, among CDC staff or in the public. But this naturally begs the question: why, then, did the CDC decide to redact all these details from the reports in the first place?

The motive is perfectly clear: Oil. You see, Russia has already eclipsed Saudi Arabia as the world’s biggest oil producer. This means the big Saudi oil fields are drying up. And the government knows that, but they can’t tell us this because it’ll create a panic. One would think this would motivate the United States to get cozier with Russia. However, what the United States government fears is that if we do that, Russia will twig to the motive for it, and realize it has the United States over a barrel. An oil barrel. At which point the price goes up. Not to mention extracting concessions in the global sphere of influence.

Thus, what the United States is playing at here is trying to install a different “regime” in Russia. That being, one that Vladimir Putin does not control or have any influence over. This is easier said than done and the United States knows this. But the stakes are quite a bit higher than controlling the dwindling oil supply in the Middle East. Russia is obviously in control of most of the world’s remaining oil reserves. The United States needs a puppet regime in Russia to have access to that oil without paying the correct market price for it.

At some point, this gambit will fail. Russia is not the Middle East. A war with Russia cannot be won or cease-fired out of. Nor can a United States-backed “regime change” succeed over there. This is not the 1990s Russia of Boris Yeltsin. The United States, however, cannot come clean with the truth to the American people. The reason is because if the American people knew the truth, they’d never sleep nights anymore. The truth is this: Our entire economic system is based on petroleum and low-cost petroleum at that. But the actual nightmare is that our entire agricultural system is based on cheap oil.

The United States diet, especially for average Americans, is based on only three crops: Corn, wheat, and soy. Every processed food you see is based on fractions of those three staples. Meat is fed those three staples, even the farm-raised salmon you see in the store. Without those three crops, the United States would undergo a famine not seen in the United States ever at any point. The United States cannot feed itself without those three crops. What’s more, many large parts of the world depend on those three crops exported from the United States to feed themselves, too. Therefore, without them, the famine would turn into a runaway famine of global proportions.

Those three crops require large inputs of oil to grow, maintain, fertilize, and harvest. The corn alone depletes the soil to the extent synthetic fertilizer made by the Haber Process is an absolute requirement. That synthetic fertilizer requires oil to produce. The tractors and combines to plant and harvest these crops run on oil. All the transportation involved runs on oil. People have been led to believe we’ve discovered domestic oil reserves that will give us self-sufficiency. Who’s telling us this? The oil companies who are in bed with the government. The fact is, if we have to rely on these reserves alone, they will need to be devoted to agriculture alone. Or we won’t eat.

At some point, the oil is going to dwindle. It may have already begun, which is the entire motive for trying to isolate Russia. See, we think the sanctions will create economic hardships that will topple Putin. Then we can install “our guy” (probably being groomed in Ukraine) to run the show and give us access to those last reserves at the price we want to pay. But if that doesn’t happen, and it probably won’t, we better start thinking about the fact food is about to get a lot more expensive. The days of .99 cent super bags of corn chips are about to come to an end. Soon.

Keep in mind that the government heavily subsidizes those three crops as it is. Otherwise, food would be a LOT more expensive. Understand this: We are all on food stamps because the government subsidizes corn, wheat, and soy. If they did not, many people would not be able to afford food at all. What you see in the store is not the real and actual cost of that food. You’re seeing it after the government paid up to half (or more) of the cost to grow that corn, wheat, and soy. Including that which was fed to animals, we eat. Meaning, if you think beef is expensive at $6.99 a pound, the actual cost is $15.99 a pound if the government did not subsidize the corn fed to that cattle.

That can only take place because the oil is relatively cheap. Were the oil not cheap and the government still had to subsidize the food crops, the money will probably have to be diverted from Social Security, interstate highways, and the military budget. So you can see the corner the government has painted themselves into. They can’t afford to do nothing but they can’t afford to get into an actual war with Russia, either. However, the steps they are taking carry the very real seeds of a war, but the government is willing to risk that, gambling a certain future of food riots against the possibility of a war. It’s a lose-lose proposition, but the government and Wall Street are stubbornly refusing to own up to the truth. They have staked “growth” of the economy on the price of oil. We are in a suicide pact with them right now.

Oil is a finite thing. It will run out. This is a fact. Now, the cheap oil has led up to more food grown and, as a result, more people born because we had the available food to feed them. These people, in turn, have increased the demand for more oil. Hence, the consumption of oil goes up each year. Meaning, the oil supply (being finite) gets lower and lower but the demand for it goes higher and higher. In truth, this means the oil will run out faster than any predictions made based upon world population numbers of even ten years ago. Every person who comes into the world, whether that person drives a car or not, has a demand upon the oil supply. Why? Because oil is the only reason food can be grown in any industrialized nation. It isn’t the cars, folks. It’s the food.

Go to your supermarket and start reading the ingredient lists of the processed foods people have come to rely upon. You will find that corn, wheat, and soy are in all of them. The entire meat department relies upon corn and soy to feed those animals. The entire dairy department relies upon those cows being fed corn and soy. Yes, there is rice and potatoes. But those two crops will not make up the deficit in the public diet if we lose just corn alone. This entire system is a house of cards built upon corn which, in turn, is teetering precariously on a barrel of oil.

My prediction? I’d say if Russia refuses to play ball with the United States, we will begin to see oil prices quietly going up. One day, some major oilfield is going to dry up completely and the price will quadruple overnight. Any corn out to harvest will see the projected cost to harvest it skyrocket. The trains to transport it may be in control of railroads without the available capital funds to pay for the diesel. Remember, this country runs on credit, not cash. Credit will not be worth squat in the coming economy of low oil availability and food scarcity as a result. We may see entire fields of corn rot for lack of oil to harvest and transport it while entire cities see supermarket shelves bare.

This is the “end game”. This is the future. There can be no other reason the United States is willing to risk war with Russia. Oil is always the reason the United States goes to war since the 1973 Arab Oil Embargo showed us how vulnerable we really are. But this time, we’ve got a “false prosperity” and millions of people born solely because of the cheap food brought to us by cheap oil. When that oil is gone, guess what? We will not be able to feed all those people born because cheap oil made feeding them possible. You do the math on what that means.

What’s also true is that rather than accept Trump’s ascension to the White House, the angry Left and the federal establishment–full of big government careerists including many who work for in the Intelligence Community–are doing all they can to disrupt, derail and de-litigimize the incoming Trump administration.

Neither the Democrats nor any other political party or politician will save us—they just offer a weaker version of the same thing. If there is going to be positive change in this society, we have to make it ourselves, together, through direct action.

None of these accusations are true–except to diehard, Left-wing #nevertrumpers who want them to be true, so they have made them true…in their minds.

And no one is going to convince them otherwise, except, perhaps, a couple Army and Marine battalions who may indeed be ordered to shoot to kill to protect the president-elect and the people, should they judge them to be in real danger.

Will there be bloodshed on Inauguration Day? There seem to be several groups of people, and the man at the center of it all may well be billionaire Leftist George Soros.

If that’s the case, Soros should be hunted down like a dog and arrested for treason and inciting domestic terrorism.

Not so fast. Turns out the church burning was actually committed by a black member of the same church. 

As reported by The Daily Caller:

A black man has been arrested and charged with burning an African-American church in Greenville, Miss. last month and defacing its outer walls with “Vote Trump” graffiti.

The Mississippi state police arrested Andrew McClinton, 45, on Wednesday and charged him with first-degree arson of a place of worship, Warren Strain, a spokesman with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety told The Daily Caller.

McClinton allegedly set first to Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, where he is a member, on Nov. 1, a week before the election. The fire destroyed 80 percent of the church. A GoFundMe account raised more than $240,000 to repair the facility.

A ‘week before the election…’ Sound like something staged to rip support away from the new president-elect? You bet it does.

Incredibly, Mississippi Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney, who also serves as the state fire marshal, told The Associated Press he didn’t believe the act was “politically motivated.”

Really? If this act was not politically motivated, then no act can be considered ‘politically motivated’. Sounds like officialdom in Mississippi, which went overwhelmingly for Trump, is attempting to stave off politically motivated retribution (which we seriously hope does not happen).

In any event, there is little doubt that the incident hurt Trump with at least some Americans–perhaps voters who were already sitting on the fence about whether or not to support him. And honestly, that can be the only true reason why this was done.

Because that’s certainly how the discredited ‘mainstream media’ portrayed it, as The Daily Caller noted:

The attack, which was investigated by local and state authorities as well as the FBI, was widely attributed by media outlets to Trump supporters. The Atlantic, to cite one example, published an article entitled “A Black Church Burned in the Name of Trump.”

And, of course, Left-wing Democrats:

Mississippi U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, whose district encompasses Greenville, said last month that the arson and vandalism was an act of “domestic terrorism.”

“If there is something like the Ku Klux Klan or the Aryan Nation…we look at that as domestic terrorism,” he told the AP at the time.

So while the state fire marshall doesn’t believe this was politically motivated, he’s practically alone.

The lesson here, of course, is that insane Leftist Democrats and their supporters are willing to go to any extreme to cause damage to Trump and his presidency, even committing false flag attacks to incite rage and create division. Let’s just hope they don’t cross one bridge too far and ignite a nationwide civil conflict with stunts like this.

Liberals and leftists, meanwhile, are suddenly stocking up like mad on food, guns and ammo. In an article titled, “Now it’s the liberals who are arming up,” McClatchyDC.com reports, “Gun shop owner Michael Cargill told NBC News gun classes at his Austin, Texas store are selling out. He’s noticed an increase in LGBTQ, African-American, Hispanic and Muslim customers. Store owners told NBC they’ve seen up to four times as many minority customers than is typical.”

Liberals, it seems, are scared about the possible rise in “hate crimes” under a Trump presidency. What they don’t realize, of course, is that nearly all the hate crimes are hate hoaxes committed by leftists. But that doesn’t stop them from buying guns, which is probably a smart thing to do no matter what the fear behind it.

Preppers are being lulled into complacency by the final blow off of a wildly overvalued stock market

My warning for all preppers — no matter what your political affiliation — is that if you’ve been lulled into a sense of complacency by the rising stock market and the Trump election victory, you could be making the biggest mistake of your life. Here’s why:

The Federal Reserve has already set the debt collapse apocalypse into motion by raising interest rates. The dominoes that will fall have already begun to tumble. The Fed promises two more interest rate hikes (at least) next year, giving the absurd excuse that the “Obama economy is overheating” from all its economic abundance and must therefore be slowed down using interest rate hikes.

This is all being done to create a false narrative that Obama is handing Trump a “robust economy.” Next, rising interest rates are coupled with a halting of quantitative easing and the acceleration of debt instrument failures in Europe. The result is that at some moment in President Trump’s first term, the global debt collapse is unleashed, unraveling the decades of debt creation and mindless bank deregulation we all witnessed under Clinton, Bush and Obama.

When that nightmare lands in Trump’s lap, the most likely outcome in the streets of America will be mass riots and social chaos at a level America has never before witnessed. What the mass riots are going to really look like

It’s difficult to give you the full picture of what these riots will really look like, but I can start by explaining that the food stamps will almost certainly stop working for an extended period of time. You can probably imagine what that will mean in America’s inner cities. No free food from the government? Burn it down! (That’s what the food stamp recipients will be shouting as the also chant, “Kill the pigs!”)

But let me back up for a second and share something that will help you understand the “financial freeze” that will immediately follow the global debt collapse. There’s an outstanding book by Jim Rickards called The Road to Ruin: The Global Elites’ Secret Plan for the Next Financial Crisis. I strongly recommend you read or listen to this book (it’s available on Audible.com, too).

As Rickards explains, the government’s solution to the next big banking crisis will be to “freeze” institutions and transactions, much like the “Ice-Nine” molecule in Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle fiction novel. As described in the book, Ice-Nine was a special kind of water molecule that was frozen solid at room temperature (its melting point was higher than room temperature). More importantly, Ice-Nine would convert all other water molecules it touched into Ice-Nine molecules. Thus, it could spread like a molecular pandemic, freezing ponds, streams, rivers and eventually, entire oceans.

The coming debt collapse will function much like Ice-Nine, Rickards explains. Because of the global interconnectedness of central banks, investment funds and retail banks, once the next large collapse strikes a single institution, it will spread to all the other connected institutions, “freezing” their transactions and assets in the same way that Ice-Nine would freeze rivers and lakes.

The newly frozen institutions will, in turn, spread the “financial freeze” to all the other institutions to which it is connected. Because no bank operates in isolation these days — everything is connected — the Ice-Nine financial freeze will quickly spread through the entire financial system, locking up the western world’s financial infrastructure on which everything in our society depends (including food stamps).

When ATMs stop working and food stamps collapse, the ignorant, unprepared, left-wing masses go berserk

This means no one will be able to get cash out of their ATMs. Food stamps won’t work. Credit card transactions will be halted at retail. Businesses won’t be able to write checks, wire money or deposit funds. Essentially, just imagine the worst case scenario in the world of banking and finance… that’s what’s coming.

The effects on the streets shouldn’t be difficult to visualize. As the following chart from Visual Capitalist shows, nearly 52% of Millennials have less than $1,000 in savings. This number is even worse among females, where nearly 57% have less than $1,000 in savings.

Across the nation, the numbers are similarly alarming. A 2013 article from CNN.com reported that “Roughly three-quarters of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck, with little to no emergency savings, according to a survey released by Bankrate.com Monday.”

The article explains that 22% of Americans don’t even have enough cash to cover a $100 emergency expense, and 46% can’t cover an $800 expense.

Consider how this plays out when the Ice-Nine freeze kicks in across America’s financial institutions. Bluntly stated, approximately half the population will face starvation in just one week due to an inability to purchase food.

That’s when nearly every major U.S. city begins to burn. President Trump will have no choice but to declare martial law and roll out troops on the streets. The starving masses — mostly leftists who failed to prepare — will loot, steal, rob and murder anyone in sight if it gives them something to eat.

It is during this time that you will thank yourself for having some storable food on hand (like my certified organic survival food buckets). You’ll be thrilled that you picked up that extra Glock or POF-USA rifle. You’ll wish you had spent twice as much money on ammo, gold and silver (instead of the Starbucks, porn and lotto tickets you blew it on).

Don’t forget about the mindless zombies who demand your stuff, citing “equality”

As you ponder all this, don’t forget about the mindless liberal “zombies” who will wander out of the cities in a desperate effort to loot the suburbs and countryside for food and medicine supplies. I know, it’s insulting to call them “zombies.” But it’s actually not a bad description for a humanoid organism of low intelligence that’s incapable of planning. Those are the ones will will be the greatest threat to you and your safety (their total lack of preparedness turns into YOUR emergency when they show up at your door demanding you “share” your stuff).

The communist-leaning philosophy of the political left is also extremely dangerous during times of social chaos. Because they’ve been taught that “inequality” is an evil thing, they truly believe that your stuff belongs in their hands so that everybody is “equal.” Of course, they didn’t spend equal time or money to prepare, did they? So what they’re really doing is justifying their theft by calling it “equality.” (And that’s communism in a nutshell, come to think of it.)

If you live in a rural area, you may want to double check the range, in yards, to your front gate, and match it to your DOPE charts. If you don’t know why that’s important, you might not be qualified to live in the country during a zombie apocalypse. Make sure you have a PVS-14 at the ready, since the zombies come out at night, as Michael Jackson showed us in Thriller.

I’m also a proponent of micro-caching, meaning hiding your stuff in small containers that are distributed in different places around your home or yard. Don’t have all your stash in one place. It’s not a bad idea to have a spare handgun, ammo and some gold or silver coins buried in an air-tight, water-tight container that you can recover when needed. Wall Street has responded positively, with the Dow climbing towards 20,000 and the U.S. dollar rising to its highest level in years. Overall “optimism,” as measured by CNBC in a regular post-election survey, is higher now than it has been in years (and possibly ever). In fact, the only people who don’t think good things are in store for the country now that a billionaire businessman is set to take over the White House are Democrats, according to the survey.

Yes, things are certainly looking up, America – which helps explain why sales of prepping gear and emergency food have tanked since the Nov. 8 election.

So much good has happened since Trump won – it can’t end, right?

As noted by Michael Snyder at The Economic Collapse Blog, “It is like a nuclear bomb went off in the prepping community.”

Snyder says he is in regular contact with many in the business of selling emergency food and prepping gear, and he can report with confidence that the so-called bottom has fallen out of the market since Trump’s surprise win. In addition, he says, firms that help people relocate outside the United States have similarly seen their business “dry up.”

“Not since the election of Ronald Reagan has the mood on the right shifted in such a positive direction so suddenly,” he writes (and that is true, as yours truly, who was around for all eight years of Reagan’s presidency, can attest).

Seeing so many people suddenly turn positive and abandon any notion that bad times lie ahead has surprised Snyder, but he understands why it has happened:

— The Dow is up; the dollar is up;

— Trump has managed to convince air conditioner manufacturer Carrier to keep most of the 2,000 jobs which it had planned to move to Mexico at its Indianapolis plant;

— U.S. Steel has announced it may reinstate 10,000 jobs in the next few years in the U.S.;

— Trump was just named Time magazine’s “Person of the Year.”

And so on.

All of this and more has combined to convince the vast majority of Americans that good times are indeed ahead, and that Trump – even if he only accomplishes half of what he wants to do – will usher in an era of opportunity and economic growth that may be unprecedented. Even talk radio giant Rush Limbaugh is already entertaining that possibility.

But, what if none of it comes to fruition? Without being a Danny Downer, I would like you to ponder this for a moment, if you will.

Dark forces are at work to subvert, undermine or deny a Trump presidency

Trump has won the presidency by gaining enough votes to win the Electoral College … supposedly. Even as I write this, there are sinister forces at work behind the scenes to rob him of his EC victory by convincing, conniving or threatening Republican electors to change their ballot. Some have already announced that they will do so. If they succeed, Trump will be denied his 270-vote margin of victory when the electors meet to cast their ballots Dec. 19, and the election will go to the House, where Republicans there may – or may not – choose him. What if they don’t?

Also, as we have noted, there are reports that Left-wing “revolutionaries” are planning to take over the U.S. Capitol building or otherwise disrupt Trump’s ascension to the Oval Office on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20.

And, as Natural News founder/editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, has posited, there may be plans to allow Trump to take office and then crash the global economy, leaving him with the blame for it all.

Would chaos ensue from any of these events (or a combination thereof)? Of course it would – which is why Snyder and Adams are warning against anyone letting their guard down.

“The legitimate fears of global nuclear war under a President Clinton have been replaced by vibrant optimism under President Trump,” Adams said. “But the next big wave of preparedness will come when the financial collapse begins to accelerate as globalists attempt to destroy the Trump administration in 2017.

“The risk for Americans now is not nuclear war with Russia, but a collapse of debt, banking and money, leading to widespread food scarcity and social chaos,” he added.

Unbeknownst to most people, pension funds in the United States are grossly underfunded. In fact, according to The Financial Times, academic research has determined that the collective funding shortfall for all U.S. public pension funds combined is three times larger than official figures indicate – and it’s getting bigger.

Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said that for years it has been clear “that many cities and states are critically underfunding their pension programs and hiding the fiscal holes with accounting tricks.” In fact, the city of Dallas just moved to freeze withdrawals from its fire and police pension funds because they are billions of dollars in the hole.

Nunes introduced legislation in the House in November to reform how public pension plans report their figures to the general public. He said that when the funds become insolvent, “they will create problems so disastrous that the fund officials assume the federal government will have to bail them out.”

‘Five or 10 years out there will be major failures

In other words, taxpayers will be on the hook to pay for something they never contributed to, had nothing to do with setting up and had no role in managing, via elected representatives. In fact, Congress has already considered this as a real option.

Already, major pension shortfalls have played a huge role in driving a number of large American cities to bankruptcy. These include Detroit, the biggest of them all, as well as San Bernardino, Calif., and others. Many fear that cities, too, will soon become insolvent because their pension plans are far too generous for the amount of funding they bring in.

“The pension problems are threatening to consume state and local budgets in the absence of some major changes,” said Joshua Rauh, a senior fellow of finance at the Hoover Institute, a think tank, and finance professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, who helped conduct the study.

He noted further that it’s very likely that over the next five to 10 years there will be many more pension-related citywide bankruptcies.

Again, it’s very probable that most Americans have no idea this financial tsunami is coming. But it is, just the same, and when it strikes, it could affect tens of millions of people.

In fact, as reported by Project Chesapeake, the pension debt bubble, when it bursts, is liable to overwhelm most Americans and send their standard of living spiraling down to levels last seen during the Great Depression.

Some financial observers and analysts, despite the recent meteoric rise of the U.S. stock market, believe that the country is headed for an era of super depression – meaning poverty would be even more widespread than after the stock market collapse in 1929. That’s because the larger the debt cycle is, the bigger the subsequent depression when the bottom falls out.

One giant Venezuela

Then, more than simply public pensions will be drained. Government benefit programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid will also be emptied, as the government – already $20 trillion in debt (about $10 trillion of which was added just during the Obama administration) – will simply be unable to raise enough money to fund all of its obligations. It can’t simply print more because boosting the money supply will simply lead to more inflation and make the dollar worth even less.

So, in essence, the federal government is in much the same shape as local cities and entire states. Over the decades, pandering politicians seeking votes have made promises to the masses that the country can no longer keep, financially speaking. When you don’t have the money to pay out benefits, the only way to get it is from the people. This would take massive new tax increases, but these would come even as tens of millions of Americans lost their savings and their pension incomes, leaving them with nothing. So what would be left to tax?

The “rich” will become a favorite target (they already are), but Congress can return to that well only so many times. Eventually the rich will take their possessions and their wealth and leave the country.

Between the failing public pensions and the massive U.S. national debt, America will change dramatically, and almost overnight, going from an easy-credit, debt-ridden society to one that is completely broke, which will greatly diminish our status in the world.

We’ll become one giant Venezuela.

So it should come as no surprise that these same kooks go out of their way to exaggerate any story having anything to do with “weapons.” Enter the certifiably insane individuals passing themselves off as journalists at the New York Daily News.

In recent days the NYPD arrested a 19-year-old college student at Trump Tower after Secret Service agents found a hunting knife and a powerful firework in his backpack.

The student—Alexander Wang—told police he studies finance at Baruch College and that he’s a big supporter of the President-elect who likes to study at the billionaire’s home base, the Daily News reported.

Wang arrived at Trump Tower around 6:35 a.m. on a recent morning and attempted to get past a checkpoint. After his bag set off a metal detector, Secret Service agents moved in and ordered him to open it.

Inside they discovered the hunting knife, an M-100 firework, a Swiss Army knife, handcuffs, a flashlight, an 8-foot black rope, a clear water gun, a wire that is typically used for strangling someone called a garrote, and a laptop.

To the lamestream media, this assortment—odd as it is—constitutes major weapons.

There is also this: Wang, who was arrested for unlawful possession of fireworks and two counts of weapons possession (for the garrote and the hunting knife) told police he had never before had a problem carrying his back, “weapons” and “explosives” included—into the skyscraper located in NYC’s Midtown the nearly dozen times he visited. That included one visit two days after Trump defeated Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, her second presidential loss.

He said he carried the items in his bag because he is a self-described survivalist (another “taboo” word on the lunatic Left—so much individualism!) who enjoys shooting off fireworks off a pier along the East River.

Stereotyping anyone who dares to take survival into their own hands

Police discovered more fireworks in his dorm room on Third Ave.; that prompted police to obtain a search warrant.

Then, the Daily News said this:

In his dorm room police found more fireworks inside a military-style ammunition box. But they found no evidence of any connection to a terror or militia group and found no firearms.

Check out that stereotyping, will you? To a crazy, Leftist “reporter,” if you carry any of these items and call yourself a survivalist, you must also be associated with a “militia” or “terrorist” group, because no one would identify as such voluntarily.

There is nothing wrong with the Secret Service attempting to keep the president-elect safe. We get that. But this is more about the hysteria from the Left-wing ‘mainstream media’ that loathes anything having to do with someone being free-minded enough to want to take care of themselves. This college student had nothing more than a “Day Bag” for surviving in any major city—no more, no less.

That is exactly what happened in Montgomery County, when two would-be muggers assaulted an off-duty police officer, prompting his wife to remove her gun and open fire on the attackers. Thanks to her ability to own and operate a firearm, the woman saved her husband’s life.

Lana Shadwick of Breitbart writes, “The reported attack occurred after the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputy walked out of a Shell Station at Sorters and Summer Hills roads in Montgomery County, Texas. The two black males allegedly assaulted him, taking him to the ground and started kicking him in the head. The suspects were apparently trying to rob the officer because they tried to get his wallet.”

Unfortunately, the two men then escaped before the police could arrive. The officer was taken to the hospital with injuries including a broken jaw, facial lacerations and missing teeth. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the case and is looking for the two men involved.

This story once again goes to show just how important The Second Amendment is. It’s one of the most important liberties that American citizens have access to. It allows us to carry firearms that even the playing field — or gain the advantage — whenever people try to cause us harm. Without a gun, who knows what might have happened at that gas station. That’s why it is so important that we protect this right at all costs.

Despite how badly the Regressive Left want all of the people in the United States to be forced to turn in their firearms, it is a terrible idea for everyone in our country. Disarmed, law-abiding citizens will not be able to protect themselves from harm. We all know that criminals do not care about obeying the law, so they most certainly will be carrying the guns that the leftists want the rest of us to hand over.

Our freedoms truly protect us. We are reminded of that each and every day when events like the one in Montgomery County take place.
